Water Treatment for Your Home or Business

Water Treatment for Your Home or Business

Better water starts with understanding what's in it.

Davis Water Conditioning has spent more than 30 years helping homeowners and businesses throughout San Luis Obispo County solve water problems with properly selected, professionally installed treatment systems. Whether you’re dealing with hard water, unpleasant taste or odor, well-water concerns or water that simply isn’t performing the way it should, we start by finding out what’s actually going on.

From residential water softeners and filtration to commercial reverse osmosis and custom ozone systems, we design solutions around your water, your property, and your needs.

What's Really in Your Water?

Water can look perfectly clear and still contain minerals, metals or other impurities that affect how it tastes, smells, behaves and interacts with your home or equipment.

That’s why we start with the water itself.

What's In My Water?

Your water source can tell us a lot, but it doesn’t tell the whole story. Well and municipal water can contain different minerals, contaminants, and other impurities that may affect taste, odor, appliances, plumbing, or everyday use.

Why Should I Test My Water?

A water test identifies what’s actually present instead of relying on guesswork. The results give you a clearer starting point for deciding whether you need filtration, softening, reverse osmosis, or another treatment solution.

How Can I Test My Water?

DIY test kits can provide basic information, but professional testing gives you a more complete picture of your water. Davis Water can test your water, explain the results and recommend treatment based on what the analysis shows.

Water Problems Don't All Look the Same

Maybe you’re seeing mineral buildup on fixtures and appliances. Maybe your water has an odor or an unpleasant taste. You may be dealing with a well that produces difficult water, or you may simply want better drinking water at the kitchen sink.

The right solution depends on the problem.

We work with a range of residential and commercial treatment technologies, allowing us to match the system to the conditions instead of forcing every customer into the same setup.

Hard Water

Reduce the effects of calcium and magnesium that can contribute to scale and buildup.

Unpleasant Taste or Odor

Filtration and other treatment methods can address specific water-quality issues affecting the way your water smells or tastes.

Well Water Challenges

Well water can require a combination of treatment methods depending on what the water analysis reveals.

Drinking Water Quality

Reverse osmosis and under-sink filtration can provide targeted treatment for drinking and cooking water.

Water for Your Business

Commercial properties often have higher volumes, specialized equipment, and operating requirements that call for a different approach.

Mineral Buildup

Minerals can leave spots, scale, and buildup on fixtures, glass, plumbing, and appliances. The right treatment can reduce these effects and make everyday maintenance easier.

Residential Water Treatment That Fits Your Home

Your home’s water needs are personal. The right system depends on your water source, household usage, existing plumbing, and the specific issues revealed by testing.

Davis Water offers several residential treatment options, including whole-house filtration, water softening, reverse osmosis, and treatment systems for well water. We can also service many existing systems and help with ongoing maintenance when your equipment needs regular filter changes, lamp replacement, or other scheduled service.

Commercial Water Treatment

Commercial water treatment has different requirements. Water quality can affect equipment, cleaning processes, production, customer experience, and operating costs, while the treatment system itself needs to keep up with the demands of the property.

We provide commercial water softening and reverse osmosis systems for businesses including wineries, restaurants, hotels and other commercial and light-industrial applications. Commercial systems can be configured for municipal or well water and selected according to capacity and application requirements.

Sometimes the Best Solution Starts With a Different Question

Choosing water treatment equipment shouldn’t begin with a product catalog.

It should begin with your water.

At Davis Water, our process starts by listening to what you’re experiencing and understanding the property, water source, timing, budget, and goals involved. From there, we analyze the situation and recommend a solution that fits the actual problem.

That might mean installing a new treatment system. It might mean servicing equipment you already have. And sometimes, the right answer may be that you don’t need to buy anything at all.

Our job is to give you an informed recommendation based on your water and your situation.

1

We Learn About Your Water

We ask questions, listen to what you’ve noticed, and look at the conditions that can affect your water.

2

We Analyze the Problem

Water testing and a closer look at your needs help identify what you’re actually dealing with.

3

We Recommend a Solution

Once we understand the problem, we can recommend the treatment approach that makes sense for your home or business.

A Different Approach to Ozone Water Treatment

A Different Approach to Ozone Water Treatment

Some water problems require more specialized treatment.

Davis Water’s Innovation Ozone systems were developed through more than 30 years of experience with ozone treatment and manufacturing. The systems are designed for residential, commercial and larger well-water applications, with custom configurations available for different capacities.

Ozone is a powerful oxidizer that can be used as part of a water treatment process. Davis Water combines ozone generation, injection, circulation, and controlled operation to create treatment systems tailored to the application.

For larger projects, systems can be custom made for storage tanks ranging from approximately 1,500 to 50,000 gallons.

This is one of the areas where Davis Water’s engineering and manufacturing experience really matters. When a standard treatment setup isn’t the right fit, a custom ozone system can provide another path forward.

30 Years of Solving Difficult Water Problems

Steve Davis has spent three decades in the water treatment industry, building his experience around one thing: figuring out how to solve challenging water problems.

That experience has taken Davis Water beyond straightforward residential installations and into larger projects requiring system design, engineering, manufacturing and installation. It also led to the development of Innovation Ozone, a custom ozone treatment system built around Davis Water’s experience with well-water treatment and ozone technology.

Today, that experience continues to shape how Davis Water approaches every project. Start with the water. Understand the problem. Then build the treatment solution around what the property actually needs.
